"All people decisions at Google should be based on data and analytics." That's where Google's People Analytics group started, but Prasad Setty, Vice President of Analytics, Benefits and Compensation, explained how far the team has come.

At the re:Work 2014 event, Setty spoke about how his team uses data and analytics to inform its people decisions, from benefits to promotions to hiring. Setty explained Google’s approach starts with reviewing external research, developing a hypothesis, and testing it internally.
